Prank Vanishings

At Lincoln Middle School, pranks have always been part of school culture, but recently, prank materials and even pranksters themselves have mysteriously disappeared. Mark, Sarah, and Kevin form the “Prankster Detective Club” to investigate, following clues left behind by the vanishing pranksters. They discover footprints leading to a hidden room where all the prank items are stored. In the end, the team solves the mystery, returning the prank materials and ensuring the tradition of pranking lives on.

This story strengthens problem-solving and comprehension skills by guiding students through a mystery involving clues and deduction. It introduces vocabulary related to mystery-solving, encouraging students to think critically about how the characters solve the case. The story’s structure helps with understanding cause-and-effect relationships, as each clue leads to the next event.
