Witch’s Trials

This story follows Vasilisa, a brave girl, who is sent by her wicked stepmother to the forest to seek light from the fearsome witch Baba Yaga. Baba Yaga gives Vasilisa a series of impossible tasks, but with the help of a magical doll, Vasilisa completes them all. Vasilisa asks Baba Yaga for fire, which she receives in the form of a burning skull that ultimately consumes her evil stepmother. Vasilisa returns home and lives a better life, free from her tormentors.
