Brutus’ Burden

Brutus is torn between his love for Caesar and his duty to protect Rome. Even though Caesar is his friend, Brutus believes that Caesar’s growing power threatens Rome’s freedom. After much thought, Brutus joins the conspirators and helps plan Caesar’s death. However, he struggles with guilt and sadness after realizing what he’s done.
