Adjective Fill-Ins

Students complete sentences by inserting coordinate adjectives into blank spaces. The adjectives must logically describe the noun in each sentence and work equally as modifiers.

This activity encourages students to apply grammar knowledge in a structured way while practicing descriptive writing. Students expand their vocabulary and gain experience building more detailed sentences, which improves both written expression and reading comprehension.
