Grammar Transformer
Students take sentences that currently use coordinating or subordinating conjunctions and rewrite them so that they use correlative conjunctions instead. The meaning of the sentence stays the same, but the structure changes to highlight the relationship between ideas.
Transforming sentence structures encourages flexible thinking about grammar. Students learn that there are multiple ways to express the same idea, and they gain experience adjusting sentence structure for clarity and emphasis. This strengthens both grammar mastery and overall writing skill.
