Sentence Combiner

This activity asks students to combine pairs of sentences using correlative conjunctions. Each pair of sentences presents related ideas that can be joined using conjunction pairs such as either/or, neither/nor, or not only/but also.

Combining sentences helps students learn how correlative conjunctions create smoother and more concise writing. Instead of repeating subjects or ideas, students practice merging information into a single, well-structured sentence. This strengthens sentence fluency and teaches students how to organize ideas more effectively in their writing.
