Safety Sort
In this cut-and-paste activity, students label items in the kitchen as either “Safe” or “Not Safe.” They cut out these labels and apply them to pictures or objects around the kitchen to reinforce safety awareness. This visual and hands-on activity makes safety concepts more concrete by associating safe practices with specific household items. The task aims to help students internalize which actions are appropriate and safe in a kitchen setting.
The worksheet strengthens classification skills as students sort items into safe and unsafe categories. Through labeling, they practice vocabulary related to safety while applying these concepts in a real-world context. The hands-on element enhances fine motor skills and reinforces comprehension of safety guidelines. This activity encourages students to remember and follow safety rules actively.
