Letter Finder
Students are guided to complete missing letters in high-frequency words such as “all,” “than,” and “the.” Each word is presented with one or more blank spaces, and students draw lines to the correct missing letters. This activity challenges children to recall spellings of familiar words. It provides practice with recognizing word structures and letter patterns.
Filling in missing letters sharpens students’ spelling and phonemic awareness. This task strengthens their ability to recognize and form complete words by recalling correct letters. It also improves handwriting and fine motor skills through the act of writing. By focusing on word structure, students develop confidence in spelling and decoding unfamiliar words.
